Summer Fun

I can't believe it is over, but our summer will officially come to an end this week with preschool and mother's day out starting on Tuesday. I'll be teaching 3 year old's three days a week. The boys will be going 3 days too!

We had a fun, busy summer. We moved twice, bought a house and Jordan started his new job...so that I guess would be the highlight. But between the packing and unpacking and packing and unpacking again the we had a blast!

Caleb got into some great things this summer! He was thrilled to be back in "Loosinanna" and close to family again. He tried a little archery (or deer hunting as he calls it)...

I love this one, his Uncle Jacob let him play his drums and guitar...

He also REALLY enjoyed wearing Maggie's (my mom) reading glasses (maybe too much)...

Eli was happy to be home too! I think his highlight this summer was the swimming. He is a fish.

Good to be back in Tiger Country...

This is what Eli does with sidewalk chalk before he eats it...

He colors his face, "The young William Wallace" ...

Micah had a big summer. He turned two, found out that he liked swimming okay, and he swung (swang?) until we refused to push him anymore...After Pops hit the swing with the tractor and broke it he found some other things to do like riding the fourwheelers and make cookies...And just be be cute...

My brother got transferred from Texas to Wyoming with his job, he already moved but his wife and little girls stayed in Louisiana with her parents for most of the summer. Seth (my brother) came in for the weekend and we got to visit. We also finally got to meet little Randee who was born in April...

And as always the boys had a blast with Reece...They also got to welcome another girl cousin this summer. My sister had Lucy in July. All five of their cousins are little girls. We haven't met Lucy yet, but we can't wait.

We got to do some other fun things that unfortunately my camera missed out on! Last week the Black's from Arkansas were in town and we had a great time hanging out. We did a day in New Orleans, a day at the mall, and a day at the bounce house.

My mom, sister, and I took the boys on a Louisiana alligator and swamp tour...it was interesting. The alligators were everywhere and we got to pet a nutria rat eating a sucker. Very neat. The boys loved it. This weekend we're going back to New Orleans to see the new Insectorium with Papaw (my dad). I'm a little worried not being a huge fan of bugs...but of course the boys are thrilled. I won't forget my camera!!!
