Updates Galore!

Well, I have to say that I have fallen off the blogging wagon. We have been going 90 to nothing and I have started helping my mom with her furniture/antique business. So when I'm not teaching preschool, or doing job research, or cleaning, or cooking, or refereeing kid fights, I'm refinishing and painting furniture. We've done pretty well and I'll post some things I've painted later!

For now though I'll start back where I left off, actually I'll go back a little further to Labor Day weekend. (The weekend of Gustav) My sis and Jordan's brother came down and we got to meet the newest Kilpatrick, little Lucy...she is a doll.

We then followed them back up to Ruston for the Hurricane. Here is a shot of 5 of the 6 double first cousins. Caleb is the oldest of the gang at a 4 years old. Our kids are the same genetically as brother and sister, but you wouldn't know it by looking at them. The girls are redheaded and pink...and the boys aren't (but they do all have blue eyes).

We came back and you know the story from there! But here is one quick pic of our only permanent Gustav damage, it is our sad little tree in the back yard. The pic actually does it some good, the roots are sticking up out of the ground:( But we are thankful it is still standing b/c many aren't!
