Finally, an update! To say we’ve been busy is an understatement. We’ve been out of town nearly every weekend for the last 2 months. We’ve been to Florida (twice), Little Rock, Ruston, Covington (a lot), and New Orleans. I’ve started my 7 week summer class. Three weeks down...only 4 to go (hurray). I am teaching in an inner city school 4 days a week and I’m in class on Fridays. My summer won’t officially begin until July 11th!
While we’ve been so busy we’ve had several “milestones” to celebrate.
First was Caleb’s Pre-K graduation. He was the only one in his class who wanted to be a “chameleon hunter” when he grows up. How cute. He practices everyday. He will begin Kindergarten next year at Amite Christian. (Jordan is praying this won’t be the only
purple and gold graduation gown he wears.)

Next was Micah Man’s 3rd birthday on May 29th. He had a special day. We took him to a yummy Mexican place where they sang to him and then we went to see UP (which was super cute). Then on Sunday we went over to Covington and had a little family swim party at Jordan’s grandparents’ club. He had a great birthday!

We are so glad Micah is 3 years old and POTTY TRAINED. Jordan and I got a little pay raise that week. We don't have any kids in diapers. We have bought diapers religiously for the last 5 1/2 years. I just smile when I pass the diaper aisle in Walmart.

June 7th was our 6th anniversary. Time flies when you’re having fun. I can’t believe it’s already been six years. This year we went to a nice B&B in New Orleans. It is in The Marigny which is a great part of town. We ate dinner at Irene’s in the French Quarter and it was PHENOMENAL. If you are within driving distance of Irene’s you need to go. That night we went and heard a swing band play. On Sunday we went to the D-Day museum (Jordan’s fave). We ate at Mulate’s on our way out. It was a great weekend. Here we are about 6 years ago...

La Maison Marigny (the b&b)...

When we got back we had our very first vegetable from our sad little garden. Our first homegrown cucumber.

Then last week Caleb was awarded his first trophy for t-ball. He's upset because I would not let him sleep with it.

This past weekend we did another quick trip to Florida. Jordan couldn’t make it but we took his youngest brother Jacob. Last month when we went we saw 2 stingrays, this time we saw dolphins. There were 5 or 6 of them and they were jumping up out of the water and everything. The water was beautiful...

At the Naval Air Station Museum in Pensacola.
Eli in a Blue Angel...

Caleb's favorite airplane...a shark of course.

They have added a lot to the museum. This is part of the new WWII exhibit.

Eli went up to all the manequins, told them "hello", and then either shook their hand or gave them a hug and a kiss. I don't know if he ever realized they were not real.

I know...picture overload. We are home for the next few weeks so I'll try to be a more efficient blogger!

Oh boy! If Jordan's parents are moving to Austin we can visit when you see them! Maybe we can leave your kids with them and my kids with my in-laws and take a getaway together! Waco is 90 miles from Austin!
Hey girl! Looks like times are fun with ya'll right now! I miss ya! Isn't it crazy to think that it was a whole year ago (almost) when we were in LA with you?
