So I have a lot to squeeze in just one blog, but it can be done. The other week we met some friends from Covington at a campground that has this really neat fountain park. The boys had a ball and it only cost a buck! Can't beat that.

The highlight of the day were these two baby racoons that came out looking for food. You can hardly see it in the picture, its on the far left.

This is my fountain! This corner of the house gets a lot of water run off so we had to do something creative with it. I need to get some water loving plants but it looks pretty good, if only I could keep the boys out of it.

The boys had a pretty good first week at preschool. Micah still cries when he gets dropped off but he certainly likes the idea of school. I found him like this one night when he was supposed to be going to bed.

The other two had to get involved...
Eli and Micah are into a "clothes" phase. The change their clothes constantly. Here are some of their "creative" outfits...
Their wardrobe usually involves some sort of superhero.
On Thursday we went over to Covington and stayed at my mom's, I had a dentist appointment on Friday. I went for a cleaning but I ended up getting a wisdom tooth pulled. Owie!!
We hung out with Jordan's grandparents on Friday night and on Saturday we met my dad in New Orleans. The boys got to go on their first street car ride. They loved it. We rode it downtown to the insectarium.

This is the Saenger Theatre downtown. It is a beautiful theatre, Jordan and I actually went on one of our first dates here. Sadly, after the Hurricane it didn't reopen and now its for sale.

The insectarium! I was a little concerned, not being a huge fan of bugs but WOW! Turns out that bugs aren't nearly as icky when they are in little cages. It was so neat and of course the boys had a blast. This picture is for Nate Brown...cover your ears!!!!

This is Eli with a leafy bug!

Me and the boys underground on a giant earthworm.

The roach section was the hardest for me to look at, but I did like this sign.

They had a South Louisiana exhibit that had live baby gators in it. I think they eat bugs...
This guy looked so real, the boys wouldn't go near it at first. (I think they may still be a little traumatized from the alligator bayou trip.) We never convinced Eli.

It was such a neat place and the boys ate it up; but my fave was the butterfly room.

When we thought the weekend fun was over Tropical Storm Fay came in town and did this to our front yard.
This is not my pond, it is my ditch. Seriously.
This is Eli nearly drowning in it.

We aren't in a flood zone...but I got a little worried. But just about 20 minutes after I took these the ditch was back to normal. Whew!

I just realized I don't have any pics of Jordan on here. He didn't get to make the trip home this weekend. So...here's to Jordan (I see where my boys get their picture taking skills from)!
