Eli's 4th set of tubes!

Today Eli got his FOURTH set of tubes.

He got his first at 18 months and me, mom, and Jordan all went with him. I cried. He got new toys and jammies from everyone in the family. It was an event.
The second time Mom and I went. He got new jammies. I held it together, but we did make a fuss.
The third time my sis came with me to help out. We brought medical play toys and explained exactly what would happen to avoid versaid because we realized it really makes him a grouch when he wakes up. He did wear some fairly new jammies.
This time...it was he and I. He wore pj's that are covered in lint and mismatched socks. He told ME what was going to happen.
Next time, I might just drop him off:)
Hopefully, their won't be a next time. These are different tubes that should last 2 years. He did great through the surgery and I always imagine how differently his world must sound when their isn't any water in his ear!
