We had an eventful Easter this year and it all started on Thursday with our Easter parade at Preschool! Like I said it was crazy...but fun for all. On Friday we finally made it to the Audubon Zoo with some friends and EVERYONE else in the city of New Orleans. It was crazy. There must have been at least 15 tour buses there. I had no idea the zoo was the place to be on Good Friday, obviously it is. But hey, at least it didn't rain (yea!) , I am afraid won't be posting any pictures from that great trip though because I forgot my camera at home. Oh, well.
On Saturday we went to a petting farm in Covington to hide eggs and see the baby animals. Then we went over to my moms and did some baking. It was a mess but the boys enjoyed it. Today after church we went back over to Covington for our big lunch and easter egg hunt at Jordan's grandparent's house. It looked like it was going to rain any minute, but it held off until we were on our way home. It was a great Easter!
Here are some pictures from the parade and baking. I'll post pictures from today and the zoo later. The last picture is of the float we made for the Parade.
