Meanwhile, this is from our trip last week to Arkansas. I would have posted sooner but we took home a little souvenir called Strep. We’ve been recovering this week. It’s nasty little virus. And for some reason it made Caleb throw up like 900 times...mostly in my car. I was ready to stop by a dealership on the way home and just get a new car. But nope, I persevered and donned my giant gloves and mask and scrubbed the heck out of my car when we got back. It only smells a little like throw-up now. Nice.
Anyway, on with my post. While we were in Arkansas we stayed with our friend’s Nate and Alicia and their 3 1/2 kids (Alicia is pregnant). This pic is from a wresting match one night.
On Monday we headed home. We stopped in Little Rock on the way down to visit my grandparents. My Papaw is going to be 80 years old next week.
And on the next day I got strep and then for the first time ever I took my children with me to MY Dr. appt. I believe “torture chamber” were the good Doctor's exact words to describe being stuck in that small space with my boys and nothing but rubber gloves to entertain themselves. I was miserable and didn’t have the energy to get onto the boys so I just took pictures instead.
Anyway, we are all well now and the Strep was well worth the trip. Can’t wait to see everyone again!!
