We had ANOTHER snow day on Friday. That is two this year. That has to be some kind of record. We got about 2 inches or so. It was so pretty but it was very, very wet this time and the boys couldn't go out and play in it for long...due to lack of appropriate snow-wear. If these winters keep up I'm going to have to invest in some real snow clothes. For now they go Louisiana style that is they wear Jordan's hats', footed pjs, socks, shoes, and some more socks on their hands. They are soaking wet in like 3 seconds and come in and change the whole outfit. They do this for a while until they are slipping and sliding around my muddy house and I can take it no more. Then they are banished to watching it snow through the windows. So that is why my pictures have no happpy children in them.
I did play it nice and let them make snow "ice cream". It actually tasted nothing like ice cream, but it tasted exactly like a New Orleans style sno-ball. It was a nice treat in February.
