The wild man turned 5 today! You can't convince him of that though. We had a king cake a while back and he wanted it to be his birthday cake...we humored him and sang happy birthday. He swears it was his birthday party and he has already been 5 and now he is 6. So according to Elijah, he is 6. He is such a mess and always keeps us on our toes. At 5 years old if he is quiet, there is trouble. Eli amazes us in so many ways. He still can't walk in a straight line but he can unlace and relace shoes. The child can fully operate the blu-ray, surround sound, wii, and now I've seen him hanging around the washer and dryer trying to figure that out. Eli pulled a classic "Eli" at school the other day. I walked in the cafeteria and saw him standing by his teacher with his head hanging. I could tell he was in trouble and went over to check it out. Apparently, Eli untied all of his friends shoes (12 of them), he told them all he would tie them back. Except, he can't tie shoes! He keeps us laughing and is such a joy to us.Tomorrow is "Eli Day" we are taking him to N.O. to do either the Zoo or Insectarium then out to lunch.
