Complete Home MakeOver...sort of.

We are in the throes of trying to make Maci a little girl spot amidst boyland. We put the boys all in one room. (We may never sleep again.)
We went ahead and did the transition so we can all start getting used to it. I sold our pirate stuff and construction stuff and we switched to a baseball theme. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. For the boys room I only had to paint their closet (because it was disgusting) and redo their dresser drawers. Oh yes, and buy a new bed.(Everyone in the house got a new bed...including me and Jordan.) Their bed is a full with a trundle underneath. My sis found some great lockers for me on craig's list too! And now introducing the boy room!

A pic of their new closet color!

I actually am not lovin' how the dresser turned out. I envisioned it a little differently in my head. But I don't hate it enough to change it. This was my first knob painting experience and I think they turned out pretty cute. They are baseballs.I also want to spray paint the lockers eventually. This is a decision I made after we bolted it to the wall (of course). So it will have to be an "inside" job. I'm gonna wait to do it after Maci is here so we can escape the fumes.

I just have one more piece of furniture to redo for Maci's room. I am making her curtain rod out of a tree limb. I found the perfect limb...now to get it painted and hung. (I have learned that tree limbs are a hot commodity in this house and if you have one it must be protected well. The boys keep stealing it and using it for their boy games.) Here is a sneak peak of her room color and crib. Her closet is bright pink!
