Boyland

You know you live in Boyland when...

This is not unusual (it is pouring down rain).

When the family rubik's cube is known as the "all spark".

When you walk outside and see this in your birdfeeder,

And this is underneath it (a huntin' camp complete with a sad huntin' dog).

When you buy one of these for your backyard (oh yes, it is 7 feet tall). I'm trying to deter them from my furniture.

You really know you live in boyland when your toilets look like mine. But since I don't want anyone "tossing their cookies" on account of my blog I'll spare you the pictures!

Changing the subject:

We had a fun 4th! We spent the weekend in Covington. Seth was in from Wyoming...it was great seeing him. On Friday we picked up Reece and took her and the boys to see Ice Age (it was my favorite of all the Ice Age's). And we did it! We took the kiddos crabbing. I am proud to announce that no one fell in the water and only Jordan got pinched by a crab. We came with 4 kids and left with 4 kids, it was nothing short of a miracle. We caught 5 crabs (3 infants and 2 adults). We lost 3 of our 5 nets...that was about when we called it quits. But overall it was a successful crabbing trip and the boys and Reece had a blast.

The boys and Reece by the pond...

Crabbing in Lake Pontchartrain...
And yes...we did feed the gators on Lake road again. The good news is that he does not like meat. We tried feeding him some of our chicken (for the crabs) and he would have nothing to do with it. He only ate the marshmallows...a real gators' favorite food.

I know I said I'd try to limit the pictures...oh well.

Sounds fun, and I'm glad to hear he was only into the smarshmallows as Micayla would say :) Gators are wickedly scarey :-<
