Yesterday we went in at 5:30 am (yes on my spring break) for Elijah to get his 3rd set of tubes put in. We've been struggling with infections and fluid in the ear since early February. Poor thing kept telling me he had "big water" in his ears, how miserable. I am glad he got it done. My sister is in nursing school and is a child life specialist as well. It is handy since this is Eli's 4th surgery and 4th time to be intubated in his 5 years. He is very prepared.
Playing with his medical equipment...
Fixing my mom...
Showing me how he's an astronaut...
Hopefully the third time's a charm and this will be our last set of tubes.
Other than the surgery we haven't been all that busy. Jordan's mom and dad were in town for a few days. My dad came down too and we spent the day with him at city park in N.O. It was beautiful...but I forgot my camera.
We have our first broken window. Caleb thought it'd be a good idea to play "javelin" with his baseball bat. They are no longer allowed to play NEAR the windows or with the baseball bat.
I also made the best bbq shrimp in the world...if I say so myself. I even took a picture.
We are gearing up for our trip to Disney in a couple of weeks and the easter bunny has to go shopping. Other than that we are LOVING some down time!!

Hey Alissa! I don't know if you remember me or not. We were in Robin Joseph's bible study class together at FBC Springdale. I've often wondered how you are doing. I found your blog on Angela Slaughter's blog. Your boys are adorable! I'm so happy for you to be expecting your 4th. Maybe it will be a little girl that those big bothers can spoil rotten and you can dress up in all those girly things!
